FRENCH TEEN IDOL is an instrumental solo-project run by the Roman artist Andrea Di Carlo.

FTI music offers a typical post-rock mood, from the song structure to the melodies, blended with an electronic approach based on basic beats, thick strings and vocal samples.

Lovers of Sigur Rós, M83, God Is An Astronaut and The Album Leaf should appreciate FTI's musical proposal.

On May 29, 2005, FTI's self-titled debut album has been released by the Canadian netlabel Nishi.
On October 2005, the song Shouting can have different meanings has appeared on Losing Today's compilation (Italian version).

"Enlightened False Consciousness", French Teen Idol's second full length album, has been released on April 5, 2007 by the post-rock netlabel Lost Children.

On September 7, 2007, a limited cd edition (500 copies) of Enlightened False Consciousness has been released.

就算在寒冷的冬天，这只来自美国芝加哥的萤火虫也会发出柔和，娇人的光芒。萤火虫，Fireflies是大男孩Lisle Mitnik的艺名。 Lisle Mitnik从小居住在芝加哥，喜欢音乐的他，只要一融入音乐中，可以说没有什么可以影响到他。芝加哥的天气只要一到冬天，就会变的很寒冷，加上很少光顾的太阳，整个芝加哥地区错过了许多阳光，以至于很少有人到街上游玩。但是Lisle Mitnik不曾为这些事情所影响到他的音乐，不关是铁轨上飞驰的火车略过他的窗前，还是邻家的狗汪汪大叫时，都不曾分散Lisle Mitnik的注意力。从小接触古典音乐的他，对音乐有着一份自己的理解。当Lisle Mitnik搬到加利福尼亚州去上学时，Lisle Mitnik开始决定自己做音乐。凭借着他自己的那份乐理知识，还有他的电脑。喜欢 Lo-Fi音乐风格的Lisle Mitnik，开始一个人写曲子，填歌词，最后用买来的Portastudio一部简单使用的录音混音器，与电脑完成了很多作品。2003年用Fireflies名字发行了《coucher a la belle etoiles》专辑，2004年发行了《chansons du metro》专辑，2005年发行了《the forest》专辑。这三张专辑都是Lisle Mitnik以自己名义发行的个人专辑，当时的Lisle Mitnik并没有签约音乐长牌。今天这张新专辑《Goodnight Stars, Goodnight Moon》是 Lisle Mitnik同时签约的俩家音乐长牌Music Is My Girlfriend 和Lavender共同发行。专辑有着梦一般的祥和宁静的名字 —晚安 星空，晚安 夜月。告出Lisle Mitnik大男孩般的思想，Lisle Mitnik 让一只处在冬天的萤火虫发出温暖，祥和的微光。因为《Goodnight Stars, Goodnight Moon》更属于这个寒冷的隆冬季节，带着一丝冷意同时告出Lisle Mitnik 内心一份暖意。
